Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is on his way to Italy.

AC Milan have planned Tomori's medicals for tomorrow, ahead of his loan transfer from Chelsea.

According to Italian expert Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A leaders will also have the option to make the move permanent for £26.5million.

Tomori, 23, has made just one Premier League appearance for the Blues this term.

The defender will now be given the chance to win a long-term stay with Milan.
