Chelsea defender Ethan Ampadu is happy with the first weeks of his season-long loan at Serie AVenezia.
Ampadu had a belated presentation media conference this morning.
He said: "First of all, thank you for waiting for me in this last period: being on the pitch is everything for a player, and I am happy to have given my contribution against Torino. I feel really good and able to take the field right from the start in Cagliari, but obviously the coach will make his considerations.
"In my career I was lucky enough to train and compare myself with great champions, yet Serie A surprised me because we are talking about one of the most difficult and appreciated leagues in the world: the coach, from whom I am learning a lot, he knows that I am at his complete disposal and I hope that my flexibility will be useful to him.
"Now we head to Cagliari, then I hope to carve out some free time to visit Venice: they say it's wonderful."
