Chelsea defender Disasi suffers injury setback

Chelsea may have a fresh injury concern heading into the international break.

The Blues, who have won their last two Premier League games, are concerned after defender Axel Disasi withdrew from France duty.

The center back was drafted into the squad on Monday, but pulled out hours later.

The £38.8million summer signing has a thigh problem that he has been managing, per Evening Standard.

Per the French Football Association, Chelsea informed them that “a tear in the quadriceps of the left thigh" was seen in the player's scans.

Disasi has been a regular starter at the back for Mauricio Pochettino so far this season.

He has played every minute in the club's opening ten games of the season next to Thiago Silva.
