Chelsea defender David Luiz admits he envies the style of play of today's opponents Wolves.
The Brazilian is fed up with the criticism aimed at the Blues and at boss Maurizio Sarri — especially as they have won their last three Premier League games.
Luiz, who was at Benfica when Espirito Santo's playing career was coming to an end at Porto, said: “I know Nuno. He is an amazing coach and an amazing person. He motivates the team.
“You can see they have intensity. They have a real club and have evolved.
“When we lost 2-1, they got the opportunity to win the game and they were not scared to try.
“In that moment we were not good in the game, we lost control of it.
“They scored one goal and normally some teams, some coaches, say, 'OK, it's good, 1-1 against Chelsea'.
“But I was on the bench and I was looking at Nuno and he was saying, 'OK, let's get the opportunity now and the next few minutes'.
“He's someone who always tries to do amazing things. He is a great coach with great players so it's going to be a tough game."
More than £100million of investment in players last summer and good fortune with injuries have been a big help but there is more to it than that.
Luiz said: “They have identity, this is the most important thing — that's different to 'playing' or to 'just defending'.
“They try to play and try to defend. They play 3-5-2, 3-4-3 and sometimes 5-4-1 when they defend.
“It's a team that when you ask who plays there, you know you have the three defenders there playing really well. Then two wing-backs. Two amazing strikers like Jimenez and Jota. They have a midfield, with Moutinho and Ruben doing amazing.
“It's a team that has identity. Some teams that get promoted don't have the chance to build that because they don't have a full squad to change."
