Chelsea defender Chalobah: We need time to adjust to Potter ways

Chelsea youngster Trevoh Chalobah has spoken about the impact of manager Graham Potter at the club.

Despite making a solid start to life under Potter, the Blues are floundering in recent matches, losing to Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League and Carabao Cup in quick succession.

However, Chalobah believes they will only improve as they learn the new manager's methods.

He stated after the loss to City to the club website: “It's about learning the way to play and it's going to take time, it's not going to happen overnight.

“We're going to get there, we showed a bit of confidence yesterday playing out from the back and had a lot of chances.

“We could have come out with something in that game, but when you concede two against City it's always hard to come back and we've got to learn from this. It's a massive game on Saturday to make things right.

“It's going to take time, day by day. We've got to make progress. After the game yesterday, we showed some glimpses of things we've been working on and we can take that into the next game."
