Chelsea defender Cahill offered to AC Milan chief Leonardo

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is keen to test himself abroad.

Despite stating he expects to play out the season at Chelsea, it's emerged Cahill will be made available for loan in January.

And TMW says Cahill has accepted Chelsea's decision and instructed his agents to find him an attractive move.

AC Milan have been contacted, with sports director Leonardo being alerted to Cahill's willingness to move to Italy. Milan already have his teammate Tiemoue Bakayoko on-loan.

The proposal would suit Leonardo, who needs to find short-term cover for the injured Mattia Caldara in January.
