Chelsea defender Abdul Rahman Baba has paid tribute to Schalke.

Having just signed for Reims on-loan, Baba was eager to thank Schalke for their support during an injury-hit 18-month temporary spell.

"I'd like to thank you for your huge support during the toughest period of my career," Baba posted to social media.

"It was an honor for me to wear the colors of this great club. I have learned a lot - both on and off the pitch.

"My family and I are very grateful."
