This mass exodus comes amid a difficult time for The Blues as they are banned from signing players for two transfer windows after being found guilty of breaching FIFA rules around the transfers of minors.

The club have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport but are still expected to serve the ban next season because they didn't ask CAS to freeze the decision while their case is being considered.
