Chelsea are growing increasingly confident of Callum Hudson-Odoi signing a long-term contract extension.

The 18-year-old had been desperate to join Bayern Munich in January, but his hopes of sealing a deal this summer were dashed by his serious achilles injury.

The Mirror says the Blues are willing to offer an £100k-a-week contract to convince the youngster to stay at Stamford Bridge.

With Eden Hazard's departure expected soon, Hudson-Odoi will also be handed the number 10 jersey if he stays.

The England international is not expected to return to action until after next season commences.
