Chelsea are closing on a deal for Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino.

The Sunday Express says Vecino is high on Chelsea's summer shopping list.

It is understood Antonio Conte is willing to let the Uruguayan go in order to help fund his own summer business.

Vecino has always been interested in testing himself in the Premier League and that looks as though it could be his next step.

Chelsea were linked when Maurizio Sarri was in charge last season before Manchester United and Everton were reportedly after him in January.

But now the reports suggest he is on course to link up with Lampard at Stamford Bridge.
