Chelsea closer to securing Tammy Abraham to new contract

Chelsea are getting closer to securing Tammy Abraham to a new contract.

Chelsea are in 'advanced talks' with Abraham over a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

Abraham, 22, has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances under Frank Lampard this season.

The four-capped England international's £50,000-a-week contract is set to expire in June 2022 but Chelsea have offered the forward a lucrative five-year deal worth £7.85million-a-year (£150k-a-week).

"Chelsea are in advanced talks with Tammy Abraham for a new long-term contract until 2025. Blues have offered to him a wages of €8M a year," tweeted Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira.
