Chelsea are closing on re-signing Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.

A deal to bring Ake back to Stamford Bridge from City is growing closer.

That is according to Revelo journalist Matteo Moretto, who names the fee at around £40m for the Dutchman.

City boss Pep Guardiola is ready to let Ake go with Tottenham also interested.

The Holland international accepts his future lies away from the champions.
