Chelsea chiefs have told agent Pini Zahavi he needs to drop the demands of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
New Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on bringing the Bosman prospect to London for next season.
However, the Telegraph says no deal will happen on the current terms Alaba is seeking.
The Austria captain wants £20m-a-year to make the move to Stamford Bridge - which has been immediately rejected by Chelsea's board.
Tuchel and the Blues remain interested, but Zahavi has been told that Alaba must be realistic about what he wants.
