Chelsea chiefs convinced Werner could push for summer exit

Chelsea chiefs believe Timo Werner will seek a move away before his contract expires.

Football Insider reports club officials are of the belief that Werner won't honour his contract.

It is claimed that Chelsea expect Werner to be at the club no longer than two years.

And the report goes on to suggest the striker may even push to leave this summer and return to Germany.

A change in manager back in January appeared to work in favour for Werner with Thomas Tuchel taking charge.

After blanking in the 2-0 win over Wolves, Werner went on to play pivotal roles in consecutive victories over Tottenham, Sheffield United and Newcastle.
