Chelsea captain Terry: Never any panic after Man City defeat

Chelsea captain John Terry says there was no panic after their defeat at Manchester City.

The Blues responded on Tuesday night by defeating Champions League opponents Marseille.

"There was no inquest after we lost. It was one of those things," said Terry. "We have watched City this season and they have not looked that great but then they raised their game against us. It was probably their best game of the season.

"They're going to get encouragement from beating the in-form side in the league. But nowadays you're not going to go the whole season without suffering a defeat and it's about how you respond.

"We have another big game on Sunday and we're fortunate the games come thick and fast now and we can get on with it. It's good to get back to winning ways against Marseille and hopefully that continues."
