Chelsea captain Gary Cahill is being offered to Serie A clubs.

Off contract in June, the defender has been told he is free to find a new club by manager Maurizio Sarri.

TMW says Chelsea and Cahill's agents are now pushing him towards Serie A, proposing the player as a January buy for Inter Milan and Roma.

Talks with AC Milan have trailed off in recent weeks.

However, a move to Roma could be on, where Cahill is viewed as a replacement for the unsettled Ivan Marcano.
