Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta says Tammy Abraham deserves all the success coming his way.
The striker struck again in victory over Aston Villa last night. He noticeably did not celebrate when he scored the opening goal on Wednesday out of respect for his old team.
Azpilicueta said: “Tammy made his debut a few years ago with us. Then last year, he went to Villa and was amazing.
“He was playing with confidence in the Championship, which is not an easy league to play for a young lad. It was very successful and he won promotion.
“But he showed his desire in pre-season to be a striker for Chelsea.
“It is something he has dreamt about and he worked for it all the way through the academy. He got his chance and is making the most of it."
