Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has provided an update on the fitness of Kai Havertz and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Blues suffered further injury blows in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi final against Tottenham on Wednesday.

Chelsea won the game 2-0, establishing a commanding lead going into the second leg at Spurs next week.

Azpilicueta came off late in the game with cramp, while Havertz had to come off at half-time due to a hand injury.

"Azpi says it is only cramp, not an injury, so that will be the good news," Tuchel told reporters.

"Kai, the issue is with a finger, I think he broke, it looked horrible.

"He played through the pain but it was getting bigger with every movement and every touch from an opponent."
