Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is eyeing a new contract as he prepares for Saturday's Champions League final against Manchester City.

Tuchel signed an 18 month deal when he took charge in January but has already made a huge impact after guiding them into the top four and to the Champions League final.

Chelsea are keen to extend Tuchel's stay and the Blues boss says he is happier at Stamford Bridge than in previous jobs with Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain.

Tuchel said: “This is very easy. I'm just so happy to be here. I never felt so good since I was in Mainz and this feels like the perfect place and the perfect moment for the perfect place.

“I'm so happy to be here, so whatever will come will come. We cannot force things, but, of course, this is my point of view and this is very clear."
