Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri doesn't understand Olivier Giroud's complaints about a lack of playing time.
Sarri insists Giroud has seen plenty of action this season.
"But Giroud played the match number 39 this evening. 39! No number nine.. 39. 39! 39," Sarri said. "Starting games with 19 and 20 I don't remember," he said, reflecting on their Europa League win over Slavia Prague.
Asked if he disagreed with Giroud's comments about his playing time, Sarri added. "I think so. He is playing because he is very useful for us, like in 70 minutes in this match. Very, very useful.
"He played really very well but he needs to recover more than the other players because he is 90 kilos and so after the match he needs time to recover, only for this."
