Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was pleased with their 2-2 draw at Europa League opponents Vidi.
Sarri made 10 changes to Saturday's team and witnessed an entertaining game containing some fine goals, two of which were free-kicks - scored by Willian, to put us ahead, and Olivier Giroud, to level things up after Vidi had turned the game around either side of the break.
"We made a lot of mistakes from a tactical point of view, but I am very happy with the character, with our reaction to their second goal," he said.
"On the pitch there were a lot of young players so it wasn't easy to react. We made mistakes: we lost a lot of balls, we could have used the ball better, but at the end I am satisfied with the performance, especially from the young players."
On Alvaro Morata's knee injury, Sarri added: "The first reaction of the doctor is that maybe it's not a very serious injury. In this kind of situation we have to wait until tomorrow to be sure the injury is not serious."
