Chelsea boss Sarri: Should Ianni be punished?

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri concedes assistant Marco Ianni was out of order winding up Jose Mourinho at the end of their 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Ianni was seen running in front of Mourinho and punching the air, which caused him to get up and try to confront the Italian as he went back to his seat.

Both benches became involved in the scuffle, but Sarri says that the blame only lies on Chelsea's side.

"I didn't see anything on the pitch," he said after the game.

"After the match I spoke with Jose. Immediately I understood that we were wrong.

"I then spoke with the member of my staff and brought him to Mourinho to say sorry. I think it is finished."

Sarr was then asked if he'll punish the coach who followed him from Napoli in the summer .

"I don't know at the moment," he said. "I want to speak to him again.

"I have dealt with the situation immediately, of course, I need to speak with Mourinho again. I want to be sure he understands it was our big mistake."
