Chelsea boss Sarri made crunch Abramovich demand during Boston summit

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants clarification from Roman Abramovich about his future.

The Sun says he has held summit talks with Chelsea owner Abramovich and demanded a quick sacking if the club want rid of him.

Sarri has been forced to spend the second half of the season dodging questions over his future as the club have failed to dampen any speculation they want him out.

Before the 3-0 win over MLS team New England Revolution he was able to hold talks with the Russian billionaire to go through what has been a difficult season.

And it is suggested that one of the main things he had to say to Abramovich was to demand a quick sacking if the club were planning to make a change.

Last season Antonio Conte was kept hanging on so long he had returned to pre-season training at Cobham with the squad.
