Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has been assured AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain wants to move to London.

While Chelsea continue to work through a complicated deal which involves Milan and parent club Juventus, Sarri is in constant contact with the player's camp.

Corriere dello Sport says Higuain's brother and agent, Nicolas, is in regular contact with Sarri and pushing Chelsea to hand him a realistic offer he can present to Juve.

The stumbling block for Chelsea is Higuain's age and reluctance to shell out big for the striker.

Milan paid €18m to take Higuain on-loan with the option to make the deal permanent for €38m.
