Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri admits their friendly in Boston last week has hurt their Europa League final preparation.
Chelsea have lost Ruben Loftus-Cheek for the Baku clash against Arsenal after he suffered an Achilles injury against New England Revolution.
Sarri said, “We finished the season tired after a two-month tour-de-force. We are trying to recover after the trip to Boston (for a friendly), there are a few too many injuries, but we'll reach Baku in good shape.
“In the Premier League, it was a balanced campaign with Arsenal, winning a tough game at Stamford Bridge, whereas we started badly at the Emirates and had the wrong attitude. Arsenal have a great attack and pressing game, so they are difficult to take on."
He added: "I've never won a trophy, so it's pretty easy not to think about the transfer market.
“This squad got two or three games incredibly wrong in their approach, but have decidedly improved and now deserve the trophy."
