Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Cesare Prandelli should remain as Italy coach.
Prandelli submitted his resignation to FIGC after Italy's World Cup elimination.
"I think that above all else they should start again with Prandelli, with the same CT," Mourinho said.
"Italian football is not going through a great period and he rebuilt the team after the [World Cup] disaster of 2010.
"He did well at Euro 2012 and at the Confederations Cup and he should stay to continue his work."
