Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho feels for Alan Pardew over Newcastle United's sale of Yohan Cabaye.

Cabaye was sold to PSG last week.

Mourinho said: "I think director of football is a role that doesn't play a part every week, match after match.

"I don't think it's a problem for Alan that the director has gone.

"I would be a hypocrite to say losing a player like Cabaye is not a problem for Alan."
