Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is prepared to see Danny Drinkwater depart.
The Mirror says Lampard has told Chelsea flops Tiemoue Bakayoko and Drinkwater they can leave.
Both midfielders were on the Blues' pre-season tour where new boss Lampard assessed their work and chances of being involved with his squad next season.
And his conclusion was the the duo – who cost a combined £80million – won't be part of his plans.
Bakayoko, 24, failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge after his £40m move from Monaco two years ago.
Leicester title-winner Drinkwater, now 29, has also struggled since his £40m move from the King Power Stadium – playing only 24 games in two years.
