Chelsea boss Lampard urged to stick with kids 'and add Kante, Rudiger'

Former Everton captain Phil Neville says Chelsea boss Frank Lampard needs to stick with his kids.

Neville says defeat at Manchester United wasn't as bad as the scoreline suggests.

“I thought they played well," he said on Match of the Day 2.

“It wasn't a 4-0 game, if you were Frank Lampard you'd be on your way home thinking you were hard done by.

“Put Kante, Willian and Rudiger in that team [and they'll add] a little bit more experience.

“He's got to persevere with the young players.

“You've got two managers there - Solskjaer and Lampard - who now will persevere with young players.

“I think it's great for English football."
