Chelsea boss Frank Lampard says N'Golo Kante could be back for their clash with Liverpool.
Kante has returned to training after missing four games with a sprained ankle.
The Frenchman impressed in Chelsea's UEFA Super Cup defeat to Liverpool in August when he was considered a major doubt for the game, but Lampard isn't counting on a repeat this time around.
"It's a boost with N'Golo," Lampard said. "We all know the importance of him for the team with the attributes that he brings.
"The only question for me is how fit he is because he's had a long time out now since the back end of last season.
"I know he played a couple of games this year but I didn't count them as such because he missed the pre-season and what he did in Istanbul was miraculous as opposed to the norm, to play how he did without training."
