Chelsea boss Lampard sets Kante injury absence

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has ruled out N'Golo Kante for at least the next three weeks.

Kante suffered a stomach muscle injury during the first half of a defeat against Manchester United on Monday.

"N'Golo is not fit," said Lampard ahead of Saturday's clash with Tottenham. "He has got a muscle injury, similar to the one he came off recently against Arsenal with. Hopefully he will be back in three weeks, something around that."

Chelsea's squad has been beset by injuries this season. He will be without Christian Pulisic for the derby against Spurs on Saturday.

Strikers Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi are back in training although not certain to start.
