Chelsea manager Frank Lampard was delighted with the debut of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The Senegal no.1 came into the Blues team after his transfer from Rennes against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.
The Blues drew the game 1-1 despite an excellent first half, and lost on penalties.
But Lampard was pleased with Mendy.
"I thought he was very good. He made a couple of good saves, one particularly good save," Lampard told reporters after the game.
"He came and caught a few balls, even the one where he came and didn't catch, the idea that he wants to be positive is not a bad thing.
"Very, very pleased with every part of his game, really."
