Chelsea boss Frank Lampard believes he and Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deserve more time to make the best of the job.

Lampard says young bosses such as himself and Solskjaer should be afforded time to prove themselves.

“When it comes to Ole or myself, you do want time and you do want put all those things in place," he said ahead of Tuesday's game against Arsenal.

“Young players that take time to develop and get better, recruitment, which will be hugely important over the next two windows, and we hope we get things right and we move forward.

“For my point a view, all I want to do is work and work and work to try to get the best scenario for Chelsea."
