Chelsea boss Lampard happy Batshuayi on scoresheet for FA Cup win

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was happy to overcome Hull City in their FA Cup tie on Saturday.

Chelsea won 2-1 thanks to goals from Michy Batshuayi and Fikayo Tomori either half.

Lampard said: "Whoever you are, if you play for Chelsea you respect the badge - you want to play and you want to win everything you are involved in.

"That's the status of this club - and it is harder to do than to say.

"These are tests, coming to these games. Tests of attitude and tests of personality as much as they are of your ability, sometimes.

"So we go on. We have our eye on getting as far as we can but whoever we draw it is going to be tough."

OnMichy Batshuayi scoring, he added: "I am pleased for Michy. Strikers want to score goals, it gives them confidence. I know he hasn't had that many opportunities but he needs to keep training, keep working and keep his head up and when he gets the opportunity to play he needs to score goals. So i am pleased he got his goal."
