Chelsea are planning to incorporate youngster Marc Guehi into the first team squad after an excellent loan spell at Swansea.

The 20-year-old is currently with the Swans as they are high flying in the Championship, up to third in the table.

According to The Athletic, Swansea want the player permanently.

However, Chelsea are hoping the defender can come back into the first team squad when his loan deal expires.

He is being monitored by the club's scouts and manager Frank Lampard.

It appears Guehi is firmly in Chelsea's plans for the future.
