Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has denied interest in Lyon star Moussa Dembele.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with a move for Dembele this month, with the Premier League rivals both in need of striking reinforcements having lost their respective top scorers to injuries.

But Lampard, who also was responding to talk of PSG veteran Edinson Cavani, insists: “The stories are not true.

"I'm not in conversation with Cavani so I can't tell you that.

"Until anyone's here or not here and signed somewhere else that's the only time for me to comment on those situations about whether they're persuadable or not."
