Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is aware of transfer rumours around Billy Gilmour.
There has been talk that Gilmour could go out on loan in search of game time, with Juventus and Napoli having been credited with interest in the midfielder.
But Lampard says the teenager may get more opportunities at Stamford Bridge over the remainder of the season.
“With Billy, I don't want to have that thought or conversation until the [transfer] window is open and it's not open now," he said in his pre-match press conference on Monday.
“I value him a lot in this squad.
“We have a lot of options in midfield, [but] that can quickly change as we've seen with the wingers situation.
“Hakim [Ziyech] got injured at the weekend, Callum [Hudson-Odoi] got injured and the numbers are not so great.
“So I'll make that decision going forward."
