Chelsea boss Frank Lampard admits they're in talks to sell Olivier Giroud this week.

The France striker, off contract in June, is eager to leave Chelsea before the deadline falls and has fielded contact from Inter Milan, Barcelona and Aston Villa.

Asked for an update, Lampard stated: "There have been contacts with other clubs, and when it is all over, I will let you know.

"But that is not yet the case, and he is still one of our players."

Inter and Barca both head the queue for Giroud's signature.
