Chelsea interim boss Guus Hiddink believes Willian's response after half-time highlights the team's willingness to remain unbeaten in the Premier League since December.
The reigning premiers extended their unbeaten streak in the league to 14 matches since Jose Mourinho was sacked by coming from behind on two occasions to force a 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.
Willian, one of Chelsea's best players this season, was below his usual output in the first half but fought back to contribute greatly to the result which was highlighted by manager Hiddink.
"Willian doesn't normally lose many balls and in the first half against West Ham by his standard, he lost some easy balls in possession when not under pressure, but he knows that being a big player he has to react, which he did in the second half and that is the reaction we like to see from players in difficult times," he said.
Chelsea will return to Premier League action with a trip to bottom-placed Aston Villa on April 3 following the international break.
