Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink revealed in his press conference today that a weird accident at home has resulted in a broken nose for Pedro.

The Dutch manager also strangely explained that the Spaniard's wife was not involved in the accident.

Ahead of the clash with Liverpool on Wednesday, Hiddink said: "Pedro is not out but has broken his nose, not in training but at home - I don't know what happened!

"He had a little accident on his own. His wife was not involved, she was here and I asked her!

"He very unfortunately fell and broke his nose. He trained today."
