Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink admits the Didier Drogba trail has turned cold.
Hiddink had been bullish about bringing Drogba back to Chelsea as assistant coach this month.
Montreal Impact had stated they would be willing to accommodate Drogba's wishes, but Hiddink admits the deal is now "abandoned".
"A return for Drogba? Not for the moment," said Hiddink.
"It was abandoned for the moment. We must respect his contract and then we'll see in the future."
