Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is seriously considering a deal for Martin Caceres.

The defender is a free agent after coming off contract at Juventus over the summer.

Conte worked with Caceres at Juve and regards the Uruguayan highly.

The Blues manager is now asking Juve fitness and coaching staff about Caceres' physical shape as he ponders bringing the 29 year-old to London.

Caceres has not played since February after he missed the end of the 2015/16 season with an Achilles injury.
