Chelsea boss Conte talks up Vidal January move: Arturo is fantastic

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has hinted a January move for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal could be on.

The pair worked alongside each other at Juventus between 2011 and 2014, and the Chelsea boss has lauded the Chilean international.

Speaking after the Blues' 2-0 victory over Brighton on Boxing Day, the 48-year-old said: "I don't speak about players from other teams' card.

"I must be honest, it's not right to talk about a player of another team. Especially if you try to link this player with us.

"But Arturo is a fantastic player, I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together.

"If we go to war, I'd always want him with me."

Vidal's contract at the Allianz Arena expires in 2019, and Bayern could cash in on the £53million rated midfielder.
