Chelsea's Antonio Conte has made it clear that Nemanja Matic will not be sold this summer.
The Serbian midfielder continues to be linked with a transfer to Italian giants Juventus, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest, but Conte is vehement in his plans regarding the 27-year-old.
Matic's future at Stamford Bridge has been questioned since the £32million arrival of N'Golo Kante from Leicester City but Conte has absolutely no plans to allow him to leave anytime soon as he makes up part of a crowded midfield which will give the boss plenty of options throughout the season.
"Matic is an important player for me, a very important player," the Italian tactician said.
"In my idea of football he is an important player and he knows this.
"N'Golo, Nemanja, Cesc [Fabregas], Oscar, [Nathaniel] Chalobah and [John Obi] Mikel, who is in the Olympics, it is not easy to choose. I want to have this problem."
