Chelsea boss Ancelotti: Terry? Bridge? I am getting p***** off with it!

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti lost his cool yesterday over the controversy surrounding his skipper John Terry and Manchester City's Wayne Bridge.

Ancelotti knows the footballing world will be watching with bated breath to see if Manchester City defender Bridge shakes Terry's hand before kick-off at lunchtime.

But the Stamford Bridge boss insisted: "I'm not excited about a handshake. I know many people are but, for me and the players, no way.

"I respect Bridge's decision but it is not my problem."

Despite all Ancelotti's efforts to maintain a straight bat, his patience finally snapped when asked if he was angry that the storm had been reignited this week by Bridge's refusal to play for England.

Speaking in Italian, he said: "It hasn't flared up for us, only for you people and I am getting p***** off with it.

"Never in all my time in Italy have I known a situation like this because I have never been interested in what happens off the pitch.

"All I can say is all my players are professional and focused. And nothing else.

"John is exactly the same in training. He knows when to laugh and joke and when to be professional.

"He has made a couple of mistakes in the last few games but that can happen.

"I haven't spoken to him as it hasn't been necessary."
