Chelsea boss Ancelotti satisfied with Sturridge debut

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was satisfied with Danny Sturridge's full debut in their 0-0 draw at Birmingham City on Saturday.

The youngster had one glorious chance early on to give Chelsea the lead, but dragged his snapshot wide.

"Sturridge did not bad [against Birmingham]," Ancelotti told chelseafc.com. "He had two chances to score and he worked well for 60 minutes together with (Didier) Drogba.

"We have only one day to prepare this game but Fulham has the same problem.

"We lost a little bit of confidence in our play but this happens when you don't get results. We have to maintain concentration because it can happen in a season that you have to overcome a difficult moment.

"Now it is a little moment when we are down a bit but against Birmingham we showed good signs for the future."
