Chelsea boss Ancelotti happy to give McEachran Champions League debut

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was happy to hand several youngsters Champions League action in the win at MSK Zilina.

A three-goal cushion allowed him to introduce several youngsters to the fold, with 17-year-old Josh McEachran making his debut while Gael Kakuta and Patrick van Aanholt came on as well. He was also pleased with Yossi Benayoun's performance in midfield.

"When it is possible I like to give the time to players to improve their experience in the team. McEachran is a fantastic talent and he is very young.

"Yossi also did very well, he took up the right positions on the pitch, he took the opportunities to play in the strikers and he had a good interpretation of that position. He is an important player for us."
