Chelsea will play Reading at the Madejski Stadium during their pre-season preparations.

The two teams will face off on the 28th of July, which is only a week before the Championship begins for Reading.

The Blues will next travel to Austria where they face off against RB Salzburg.

Other preseason games for Chelsea include playing J.League champions Kawasaki Frontale in Yokohama on 19 July and Barcelona in Saitama on 23 July.

The Blues will be hoping they have new players on board by the time pre-season begins, especially if they lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.
