Chelsea's Malang Sarr will not be joining Fulham this summer.
That is according to the Evening Standard, who says the Stamford Bridge club has blocked the move.
Although Sarr is not first-choice under manager Thomas Tuchel, he is a left-centre-back option, which is an area where Chelsea are weak.
Even if the Blues secure Marc Cucurella from Brighton, who can play there if needed, they are likely to keep Sarr for this season.
Fuham are likely to turn their attention to West Ham's Issa Diop, although the Hammers have not been receptive of their bids either.
Manager Marco Silva is determined to secure a central defender before the start of the new season.
