Chelsea ace Eden Hazard admits Yannick Carrasco's move to Dalian Yifeng seems "odd".

The Belgium midfielder quit Atletico Madrid last month for the Chinese Super League club.

Hazard told Derniere Heure: "This choice seems odd, but he has his reasons. I'm not in Yannick's mind but I know he wanted to leave Atletico Madrid.

"Maybe he had only this solution in China to leave. Staying until the end of the season at Atlético, he might not have played at all. In China, for sure, he will play a lot.

"Frankly, it's better to have playing time in China than to be on the bench in Liga."
